Two characters, one shared world

Relli is the curious, dreamy girl in pink; Rilo is her gently mischievous companion in blue. Their almond-shaped upper heads, crystal collars, metallic hair and large textile-like eyes beneath the collars define their silhouettes. Hungarian-inspired tulips become surreal dream gardens across their surfaces.

Rilo hid one tulip behind his back. When he finally offered it, Relli’s eyes held more wonder than the whole garden.

They each wanted the other to have it. In the end they broke it in two, and neither felt they had received only half.

“I’ll close my eyes for just a moment,” said Relli. Rilo quietly tucked a blanket around her and let the moment last.

What small gesture makes you feel cared for?

The moonflower — animation concept

Rilo watered the tulip every day. One evening a tiny moon bloomed inside it. He called Relli over: this was a light he wanted them to share.
