A place of safety
The little one wanted to climb everything. The highest step, the edge of a bench and, one day, the big dog’s back.
The big dog lay patiently while tiny paws searched for a foothold. When the puppy finally reached the top, it stood tall with pride. The world looked quite different from up there.
Then, for a moment, it hesitated.
The big dog turned its head and gently touched the puppy’s nose. The little one nestled closer. For a while, it no longer wanted to go anywhere.
That gesture became the starting point for Melletted: the trust with which we lean on someone, and the patience with which they make room for us.
The figures tell their story without eyes. A lowered head, noses touching and a body nestled beside another make their bond visible.
